The wine tasting course will consist of 6 evenings - these will take you from the exploration of the creation of wine from Grape to Glass.

George will take you from the planting of the grapes to the final product.  On the island George uses the traditional Ikarian grape varities of Fokiano, Koudouro, Reteno and the white Begleri. 

George will give you an appreciation of wine, the organic process and how to get the best from your wine choice - Matching the wine to food you will eat.

George is passionate about the organic process, he and his family started to replant the vineyard in 1993 and today they have a truely organic winery based on one of the most stunning islands in the Aegeon.
